BELIEFS:

We believe that students, parents, the community, and our staff contribute to the positive school environment and the collective strength of Ellendale Elementary

We believe that nurturing all students' social and emotional well-being will encourage academic and personal development and increase future success.

We believe the school counselor's role is to provide a data driven comprehensive counseling program to meet the needs of all students through a guidance curriculum, individual student planning, responsive services, and system support.

VISION STATEMENT:

The vision of the Ellendale Elementary School Counseling Program is to support a school environment in which all students feel safe, welcomed, respected, and empowered.

The School Counseling Program will support all stakeholders to help build a community of diverse learners and leaders by maintaining high expectations and promoting academic and personal excellence.

MISSION STATEMENT:

The Mission of the Ellendale Elementary School Counseling Program is to identify barriers to success and advocate for students by partnering with stakeholders to ensure the safety, social/emotional development, academic achievement and career/college awareness of our students using a comprehensive school counseling program.
