About Mrs. House

My name is Susanna House. This is my 8th year teaching at Ellendale and my 7thyear teaching first grade. I completed my residency year at Bartlett Elementary teaching 5th grade, so I have been very blessed for 9 years now to be a part of Bartlett City Schools. 

 

My husband, Jon, and I will be celebrating our 16 year anniversary on October 13th. We have 3 children. Our oldest son, Jonathan, is 27 and works for the Health Department in Tacoma, Washington. Our younger two are Jeremiah, who is attending The Ninth Grade Academy, and Evelyn, who attends 7th grade at Appling Middle School. We love to spend time together as a family. We enjoy being outdoors, hiking, camping, watching movies, going to church, and just spending time together. 

 

I can't think of anything more rewarding than watching a child grow and learn and being a part of that process. Along with the help of the families of my students, I know these precious children are going to do amazing things this year and make great leaps in their learning!
