Further Reading - Electronic Resources

Our wonderful brick-and-mortar library is just one of the amazing resources available to our students!

Access safe, reliable resources online via the Tennesee Electronic Library
  • Check out WorldBook eBooks to read over 2,500 books free online. Create an account to create your own selection or just browse as a guest.
  • WorldBook Online also has fun online learning games that won't interrupt with ads or risky clickbait aimed at kids.
  • Access books in other languages via the International Children's Digital Library.
  • Explore the site on your own or with your student -- the Tennessee Electronic Library is an underused resource. When I learned about it, I realized I was paying for apps for my kids when they could've been using better, free alternatives all along.

As always, the Memphis Public Library has a growing collection of eBooks using Overdrive. Access their catalog on the top right side of its website. Once you've clicked through to it, find the column "Limit Search Results," and scroll down to select your ideal digital format.
