Welcome to room 67! My name is Lindsay Frazier and I am the RTI teacher at Ellendale. My role is to work with the Tier 3 intervention groups along with running Ellendale's RTI program. This is my 6th year of teaching. Last year was my first year at Ellendale Elementary where I worked as an intervention teacher for grades K-5. My other years of experience have been working as a general classroom teacher in 5th, 6th and 9th grade. I am extremely excited to be here at Ellendale for the 2016-2017 school year!
A little bit about me personally- I come from a long generation of teachers. I spent many hours in the classroom with my mother growing up. From the age of 5, I have known I wanted to be a teacher! I grew up in the amazing city of Columbus, Ohio (go Ohio State Buckeyes!!). It was a fantastic place to grow up and is still where my family resides. During many of our school breaks, I will often travel home to spend time with my family. I also have a wonderful husband, Jason. In 2011, Jason and I moved from Columbus, Ohio to Albuquerque, New Mexico for his career as a meteorologist. We lived there for a little over 4 years and enjoyed many sunny days and beautiful views of the mountains. In attempts to move closer to our families in Ohio, we landed in Memphis. We're so happy to be living in this wonderful city-- and finally be within driving distance to family! We recently purchased a home in the area and are enjoying it to the fullest! In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, travel (especially to Disney World), watch plenty of Buckeye football and cook.
